  • Conversations with manufacturers and brand owners aligned with the programme’s 4+1 industry focus and buyer needs.
  • Local craft, community life or a cultural experience that fits the route.
Take better questions with you.
  • Which processes and quality controls support the product?

Business lens

  • Manufacturing processes, standards and supply-chain roles at the selected business.
  • Product, ingredient, packaging or OEM / ODM questions relevant to the buyer group.
  • Ayutthaya’s heritage and cultural stories at selected stops along the route.
Take better questions with you.
  • How do materials, design and local expertise create value?
  • Which production or supply-chain questions need a next conversation?

These are proposed pathways. Businesses, cultural stops, restaurants, travel times and support entitlements will be confirmed separately after host coordination and buyer grouping.

Business relevance shapes the group.

Your preference is one input. The programme also considers these factors before confirming a place.

  1. Business objectives
  2. 4 + 1 sector fit

CARE ON EVERY ROUTE

Care throughout Routes A and B

Every group journey needs a coordinator, a site plan and medical readiness.

01

An ambulance with each visit route

The 17 December visit plan includes an ambulance and medical team for each route, accompanying the group from departure through activities to the return drop-off. Routes A and B are covered throughout their journeys.

02

Before departure and site entry

Staff check the group on and off the vehicle, brief the meeting point and coordinate each vehicle. Wear your seat belt. At an industrial site, follow the host’s access rules and required PPE.

03

Emergency transfer and continuity

The medical team coordinates an appropriate receiving hospital based on location and clinical need, with continuing group cover if an ambulance transfers a patient. Primary and alternative hospital routes will be included after visit locations are confirmed.

Provider and host arrangements are being coordinated. Final details will be shared before travel is confirmed. Event safety arrangements →

PREPARED BEFORE EVERY ROUTE

The final operating plan requires coordination and review of these items. These are planning requirements, not a claim that every arrangement is already complete.

HOSTED JOURNEY FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before expressing interest.

Want to discuss the right fit?

Ask the journey team

Routes & participation

Is the Hosted Journey included for everyone?

No. It is optional, selective and subject to business relevance, route fit, capacity, host approval and written confirmation. An interest form or email does not confirm a seat.

Can I choose my preferred route?

You can express one preference. Route A focuses on Samut Prakan and nearby areas; Route B focuses on Ayutthaya or the route there. Both are alternatives on 17 December. Final allocation is made by the programme after review.

Can a Thai Supplier join?

S02 and S03 each include one visit seat, subject to route review and confirmation. Additional eligible seats are THB 5,000 each, subject to capacity. Other pathways should enquire with the team rather than assume entitlement.

Which factories or sites will we visit?

The current page shows indicative themes and regions, not a confirmed host list. Specific businesses, cultural stops and the final sequence will be shared after host permission and operational review.

Support & confirmation

What support is included?

Only the items in your confirmation letter. These may include group transport, route coordination, hosted lunch and agreed on-ground support. Flights, hotel nights and other support have their own approval terms.

When will my route be confirmed?

After the programme reviews your profile, business objectives, host access and available capacity. No confirmation date is promised on this page; the team will provide the confirmed arrangements in writing.

May S02 / S03 nominate a host business?

Yes, in Samut Prakan, nearby areas, Ayutthaya or along the route. The team reviews business relevance, permission, safety and logistics. Nomination does not guarantee inclusion.

What should I prepare before the visit?

Share your business objectives and access or dietary needs through the team’s agreed channel. Bring the confirmed schedule and suitable clothing or equipment as instructed by the host. Check the return arrangement and any extra hotel night before booking.

HOSTED BUYER · ESTIMATE

Estimate Your Airfare Support

Try an estimate without uploading personal documents. SAN must review and confirm the actual entitlement.

Your travel

Enter an IATA code to match its country, or enter the airport name and select its country. Use the airport where the journey begins, not a connection.

Enter the total for both outbound and return flights once. Do not enter a one-way amount or double an existing round-trip total. The departure cap cannot exceed your actual work-base cap.

Deductions · same currency as the receipt

Enter each item once. Tick “already removed” if it is already excluded from the amount above. Employer payment is not automatically deducted.

Your support estimate

Only enter the individual cap from your approval letter. Leaving this blank still allows an estimate using known caps.

Formula, rates and confirmation

The lowest of 50% of the eligible net round-trip fare, 50% of comparable Economy round-trip pricing, the approved individual cap (if any), the departure-airport country cap, the actual work-base country cap and THB 35,000.

Receipt: BOT commercial-bank average MID from the latest business day before actual payment; direct conversion to THB with normalized currency units. USD payout: approved THB ÷ (ECB USD/THB reference + 0.35). The two rate stages have different purposes.

USD payout uses ECB via Frankfurter, with the ECB provider fixed. Receipt valuation uses BOT commercial-bank average MID. For a currency absent from that primary set, ECB via Frankfurter is the disclosed fallback, subject to SAN disclosure before confirmation; missing primary history is not silently replaced. If neither source covers it, SAN must announce a fixed source before confirmation.

Confirmed THB and USD are locked with rate evidence and policy version. Later API updates never rewrite them. Cash denominations and remainder handling are pending.
